What is Yin Yoga?
Yin yoga is a slower form of yoga in which poses are held for longer periods of time, 2-5 minutes.
Poses are designed to bypass the muscle and work the fascia, connective tissues, and joints. Bringing balance to the mind, body and spirit.
Join me in the practice of Yin yoga. Exploring the 5 Archetypes. Discussing the benefits. How to practice safely. The difference between restorative and yin yoga.

Donation-based Community Candlelight Yoga with Live Sitar Music from Rishi celebrating Diwali
Sunday, October 19th; 6:30-7:45pm
Join us for a classical Yoga practice by Candlelight to celebrate the Indian Festival of Lights, Diwali, which is a tradition that symbolizes the triumph of light (goodness) over dark (evil). This class will be accompanied by live sitar music. Please bring a cash donation for the musicians ($5-$10 suggested) and a warm children’s clothing donation for the United Way’s Mobile Clothes Closet.
Sound Immersion with Alex & Alexa
Thursday, Oct. 30th; 7:00-8:15pm
The studio will be filled with deep tones from gongs, vibrations from singing bowls, drums, didgeridoos, rain sticks, bells, chimes and more. Drift into the stillness below the mind and access the parasympathetic nervous system for an opportunity to let go, rejuvenate, feel grounded and become deeply relaxed. Participants have an opportunity for emotional revelation, a chance to connect with themselves and ultimately tap into their innate ability for self healing.
Props are important for this experience! You will be laying down for the whole experience, so we want to ensure you are comfortable. The more cozy you are, the deeper you will go. So, extra blankets, extra pillows, bolsters, eye masks, etc are a good call. It cannot be overdone.
This special experience always fills early, so register soon to reserve your spot. Once we have a waitlist of 10, we will open up a later session at 8:30pm.
