Southern Star Yoga Center's teacher training intensive is a comprehensive, residential program designed to give students the experience of the yogic way of life, because we believe the best way to learn the true benefits of yoga is to live the life-style in an accepting and supportive sangha (community.) The training will cover all the basic aspects of teaching yoga with a special emphasis on understanding Anatomy and Physiology and learning the techniques for adapting your classes to your students' needs.

This year, the River's Retreat will provide the backdrop for our explorations into the practice and teaching of yoga. Located just north of New Orleans in Covington, LA, the River's retreat offers a serene setting, comfortable accommodations, and delicious meals. During our afternoon free time, you can relax by the pool, take a walk to the river, or simply enjoy a cup of tea in the outdoor gardens.

Pricing:

Lodging & Meals $2200 (shared dorm/ 6 per room), or $2300 (shared cabin/ 2-4 per room*)

Total Program Fees: $3800 dorm/$3900 semi-private*

$500 Deposit is required to guarantee your space in the program. This fee includes a $100 registration fee which is non-refundable.
